📜 Published an observational study in Intensive Care Medicine entitled "High-flow nasal cannula oxygen during breaks from noninvasive ventilation after extubation: an observational study." The study investigated whether the use of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) during breaks from noninvasive ventilation (NIV) after extubation could reduce extubation failure in high-risk critically ill patients admitted to intensive care units. The analysis included data from 1,077 patients enrolled in two large multicenter clinical trials.
