We are launching three new simulators, Xlung 2.0, Physiolung and Oxylung, in the Xlung Teaching and Virtual Simulation Platform. Xlung 2.0 is focused in mechanical ventilation on all scenarios using ventilatory modes. The second is focused on fundamental concepts for health care professionals' basic formation, such as respiratory physiology emphasizing: gas exchange, respiratory mechanics, work of breathing and acid-base balance through virtual simulation. The third one, aggregates oxygen therapy administered through multiple devices and their immediate physiological effects, the ability to simulate many of the most common clinical scenarios of respiratory failure (such as COPD exacerbation, asthma crisis and pneumonia among others) as well as metabolic disturbances.
The beta version simulators will be temporarily available to all Xlung subscribers! Try it out!
