A 46-year-old patient, non-smoker, was admitted to the emergency with cough, purulent sputum, dyspnea and fever for three days. The chest X-ray and arterial blood gas, collected during oxygen therapy by Venturi mask at 50%, are shown below. Respiratory rate was 26 bpm.
